And the really crappy part is their income probably knocks you out of eligibility for the better termed federal student loans. The way I see it you have two options: 1) look farther into private loans on your own. If one place turns you down, try another.

My parents won't cosign for a private student loan (understandably). I've decided that, despite the cost, I definitely want to go to this school. Unless you are going to Harvard or Stanford or something, the school you go to really does not matter a lot, especially for undergrad.
